Habbowood Studios is currently on the hunt for the next hot shot movie-making whiz.
This is
THE competition of the year and the stakes are high - HUGE prizes and ULTIMATE fame.
But do
you have what it takes?
The winning ground-breaking director would have to match both creative vision and marketing savvy to
prove his/her self at the box-office. The success of your blockbuster depends on both your KILLER IDEA as well as the
PUBLICITY BLITZ you come up with.
To help realise your dream, we are offering the Habbowood Movie Editor as a tool to create and show around as many movies as you want. Creating your own masterpiece is simple,
fun and FREE.
Get your creativity in gear. Your chance at fame and glory is HERE!

NOTE: The Movie Editor is simple to use and contains step-by-step instructions, advice,
and useful tips to help you make your perfect movie.
How To Compete & Vote
Now that you've made your movie, the real fun starts! You need to get your movie seen and you need
VOTES!
When you save your movie it's UNIQUE title, URL and link will be saved in the Habbowood Movie
Database.
By using the 'Search Title' function, you and your supporters (or detractors) will be able to find your
movie and view it at anytime during the competition.
Voting is simple. EVERY TIME you or anyone else watches
the movie, the viewer will be able to vote with a “Thumbs Up” or “Thumbs Down”. Depending on the vote,
the movie will either gain or loose points.
To find out how well your movie is doing, keep your eye on the Top Ten Most Voted Movies Chart
on the Habbowood minisite. It updates continuously as the votes come in.
But remember, the Top Ten Chart order is
NOT based on votes (so no one knows who’s currently 1 or 7, only that they’re in the top 10).
You
have until Monday 1 May 2006 to create your movie, save it and get your votes. After that date, the Top Ten Chart in
the site will no longer change and the final winner will be one of those ten! BUT, who will it be?
All of the
Top Ten Directors will be invited to attend the Habbowood Gala where the winning Habbowood Director will be revealed. The Gala will be held on Friday, 5 May 2006.

Sad News...
DoeLee and R.R. have turned back into Cats after their private conversation after the successful chant by Jennicks
to turn R.R. back into a Habbo. Visit DoeLee's Room to see if you can turn them back into Habbos
| Jennicks is R.R.'s true love, according to the Superlove Potion. :) Yes, our dear friend
R.R. was turned back into a Habbo after Jennicks recited the chant 3 times at Friday's CoolPlay Partay. It was such a joyful
event. Even Kitty, who had secretly hoped R.R. would remain as a Cat, jumped for joy and teared visibly to the delight of
watching Habbos. |
After the rumour mill carried R.R.'s transformation
to her robotic ears (we suspect she planted nanoreceptors to her main processor to 'observe the whole event'), DoeLee showed
up unexpectedly and needed a private discussion with him.
Several hours later, Habbos were horrified to find that
both DoeLee and R.R. had turned into Cats! :o
Fortunately for them, it is just an April Fool's Joke by the
Staff! :p
lynx and I planted 2 Cats named DoeLee and R.R. in DoeLee's room after their secret meeting, which appears
to have ended amicably anyhow - the pair went for a Habburger, arm in arm and laughing. I left a pile of dried fish and a
dish of water and watched the 2 previously homeless cats from the pound cuddle up together in their new home. It was the sweetest
thing. :)
DoeLee got a big surprise when she returned to her room but was so happy to see her two new friends
that she took a nice snapshot of them (see pic above) and spent the whole weekend playing with them.
